Connection
The available option on this group is Add Connection 
and contains the items described on the next table.

Allows a direct connection to a database created by Elipse E3, Elipse Power, or Elipse Water on a SQL Server or Oracle server, or else an Access database, which is a file with an .mdb extension |

Allows connecting to a database created by Elipse SCADA, which is a file with a .dat extension |
EPM |
Allows connecting to an EPM server |
E3 |
Allows connecting to an Elipse E3, Elipse Power, or Elipse Water server |
Pointer Mode

Select |
The Select mode allows selecting a specific Pen on a Display. The selected Pen is also automatically selected on Task Panel's Display tab |
Pan |
The Pan mode allows dragging Time and Vertical Scales without changing the zoom factor |
Zoom |
The Zoom mode allows selecting a Pen region with the mouse pointer, so that it becomes visible on the Display |
Search |
The Search mode allows viewing values from points on Pens or executing an interpolation. Please check topic Search Mode for more information about this option's behavior |
Display
The available options on this group are described on the next table.

Zoom operations are stored on a historical record and allow returning to previous zoom levels. The historical record of zoom operations is individual for each Display |
Fit |
Fits all Pens on the selected Display in the selected period of time |
Go To |
This options allows adjusting the Time Scale to pre-determined or custom periods. Please check topic Period Selection Mode for more information about this option's behavior |
Auto Update |
Allows the selected Display to perform its query again in pre-determined time periods. Please check topic Auto Update Mode for more information about this option's behavior |
Show Grid Lines |
Enables viewing grid lines on a Display's Plot Area |
Show Local Legend |
Enables viewing the name of Pens and their respective colors on a Display's Plot Area |
Interpolate |
Enables interpolating data on a Display |

The Auto Update, Show Grid Lines, Show Local Legend, and Interpolate options are also available on the contextual menu of Displays on the Displays tab of the Task Panel. |
