Trigger by Lockout on Protection Device or Restoration Trigger

To start a restoration by lockout on a protection device, the following conditions must be met:

Device open

Indication of lockout of the reclosing cycle

Device available for the Self-Healing Module

Good communication quality

Trigger of at least one Measurement whose HoldPulseTriggerProtection column was filled with value 1 (one) on the CSV configuration file. The HoldPulseTriggerProtection column indicates the protection signs that may lead a device to lockout, such as 5051, 5051N, Excessive Current, Sensitive to Grounding, and Negative Sequence, among others

When a trigger by lockout occurs, the Self-Healing Module searches for a solution that isolate the faulty block, or the downstream block of the triggered device, and transfer the healthy block to an adjacent circuit, updating the adjustment groups of the devices triggered by the maneuver. After the maneuver, the devices are unavailable until an operator acknowledges the Self-Healing Module action.
