Introduction

This Driver implements the communication protocol for Dexter PLCs µDX from series 100 and for the new µDX+ version, allowing communication using Elipse Software's IOKit library.

In this Driver, all functions used by the new µDX+ version must receive as a parameter, in addition to the address of a PLC, the respective group, which was not necessary in µDX version. Except for reading and writing constants, which have a different addressing for each model, the new functions must also work correctly in µDX models, as long as users pass as a group parameter the value 0 (zero), and as long as the parameters passed are within the limits of a PLC.

For communication with the most recent µDX+ PLCs, which implement the DXNET+ protocol, users must select the Use DXNET+ option on this Driver's configuration window.
