Introduction

This is the HBM MP85 Driver, which allows communication between Elipse Software systems and CAN and Profibus DP networks using the Ethernet interface of an HBM MP85 module.

Modules from MP85 series can be connected to virtually any transducer commercially available. Standardized industrial design and CANopen and Profibus DP interfaces, in addition to digital inputs and outputs, allow great connectivity in automation environments.

This Driver must connect to an MP85 module using an Ethernet connection on the IP address configured for that module on TCP/IP port 4020. This allows accessing objects and data from an MP85 module or from CANopen and Profibus DP networks connected to that module.
