Automatic File Reading

This Driver allows capturing curve files automatically from an MP85 module. To enable automatic file reading, select the Enable file scan option on the MP85 tab of the configuration window.

The Scan time option allows configuring a frequency for when this Driver checks for the existence of new files, by reading a File Transfer Length object. If reading this object returns a non-null value, the reading procedure starts automatically, in a thread executing in background.

After finishing this reading procedure, this Driver automatically stores the files on the path selected on the configuration window, according to the type of file.

After acquiring data, a device generates result files and curve files. A result file, with an .R85 extension, is generated first and contains several measurement parameters. A curve file, with a .C85 extension for successful readings or .D85 for failed readings, is generated right after, and contains data read.

The configuration window of this Driver allows configuring distinct paths to store these types of files in the Result file path and Curve file path options, respectively. The names of the stored files are the same ones returned by a device. This Driver does not change names provided by a module.

The files read can then be imported by a manufacturer's application (PMI) and used to generate curves for each essay.
