Available options on the PRP tab
Option |
Description |
---|---|
Enable PRP |
Indicates whether this Driver must use the PRP Service. This option is used so that this Driver configures the network interface as defined in the ServerName / Interface List option, and also starts listening to the UDP status port |
ServerName / Interface List |
Informs a list of server names (DNS) and IP addresses in the format ServerA:IPA;ServerB:IPB, so that the same project file containing this Driver can be used without changes in at least 2 (two) servers. When this Driver starts, it gets the name of the local computer and checks whether there is an IP address on that list that correspondes to this name. If positive, this IP address is used as the IP address of the virtual interface |
Status UDP Port |
Inform an available local port, which is used by this Driver to receive statistics and logs from the ElipsePRPSvc.exe service. It must be the same port informed in the configuration of the PRP service |
