Property

Description

Device Instance

Device's identifier

Segmentation Support

Type of packet segmentation supported by a device

Segments Accepted

Acceptable number of segments for exchanging segmented messages. Select accordingly to what is determined in a device's configuration

Maximum APDU Length Accepted

Maximum length number in octets per message segment. This means that if the request or response exceeds this maximum value, the message must be segmented into as many segments as necessary. Select accordingly to what is determined in a device's configuration

Maximum number of objects per ReadMultipleRequest

If the Disable Read Grouping option is deselected, this Driver performs grouped requests of several Tags that cannot be read spontaneously (COV). This option indicates the maximum number of items requested at the same time in these readings

Inter-Message Delay (milliseconds)

Delay, in milliseconds, between sent messages

Get Alarm Summary at startup

Performs a request to retrieve a list of alarms during this Driver's initialization. That retrieved list is then sent to the special Tag ReceiveEventNotifications

Device IP

IP address of a device

Enable Network Address

Select this option to allow editing a device's sub-network and MAC addresses

Network Address

Mask used on the IP address, which corresponds to the DNET field in a BACnet packet

MAC Address

MAC address of a device, which corresponds to the DADR field in a BACnet packet

Enable Write Priority

Select this option to allow specifying a writing priority to a device

Write Priority

Select this option to specify a priority used on all writing commands to properties sent to this device, between 1 (one) and 16. If this option is not selected, this Driver uses the default priority (16)

Use COV

Enables the system of spontaneous messages (Change of Value, or COV), sent by a device when the value changes. They are typically used for properties of type presentValue and StatusFlags. Please check topic COV System for more information

Use Confirmed COV

If enabled, informs that COV messages sent by a device must be confirmed. Otherwise, these messages do not need confirmation

Maximum COV Subscriptions

Informs a maximum number of variables that can be monitored by a device for spontaneous sending. After that limit, additional Tags are read by polling

Exclude Analog objects from COV

When this option is enabled, readings of analog values in this device are not performed by COV notifications

COV Subscription Lifetime (seconds)

Time, in seconds, in which a COV subscription for this device is valid. A value of 0 (zero) indicates that a subscription never expires. This Driver renews expired subscriptions automatically

SubscribeCOV Delay (milliseconds)

Delay, in milliseconds, between sending a request for a COV subscription and the next message
