View Tab

The View tab is divided in the groups described next.

 

Chart

The available options on this group are described on the next table.

Available options on the Chart group

Option

Description

Theme Theme

Allows selecting a theme for Elipse TrendExplorer's graphical interface. The available options are Light or Dark

Task Panel Task Panel

Allows changing the position of the Task Panel. The available options are Top Position, Bottom Position, Left Position, Right Position, or Show Task Panel

Pen Highlight

Shows the selected Pen highlighted in the Display

Options

Allows configuring several Elipse TrendExplorer options, described next

Full Display Mode

Fills the viewing area with the selected Display

Full Display Next

Fills the viewing area with the next Display relative to the Display shown on the Full Display Mode option, if available

Full Display Previous

Fills the viewing area with the previous Display relative to the Display shown on the Full Display Mode option, if available

 

When clicking Options, the window on the next figure is shown.

Option

Description

Color theme

Allows selecting a theme for the graphical interface of Elipse TrendExplorer. The available options are Light or Dark

Show pen selection

Shows the highlighted Pen on Displays

Visual scaling

Allows configuring the scale of visual elements on Elipse TrendExplorer. Possible values for this option range from 50% and 500% and the default value is 100%

Position

Allows selecting a position for the Task Panel. The available options are At the Top, At the Bottom, On the Left, or On the Right

Show Task Panel

Enables displaying the Task Panel

UTC offset (s)

Allows indicating a timezone, in seconds, to Pen's time on Displays

Use local time (offset not used)

Uses the local time, disregarding the UTC offset (sec) option

 

NOTE

The Visual Scaling option multiplies the scale selected in the System - Display - Scale and layout - Scale option of Windows settings. For example, if Windows scale is configured to 200% and the Visual Scaling option is configured to 500%, the on-screen result is an increase in 1000%, or ten times.

 

Display Layout

The available options on this group are Add Add Display, which adds a new Display near the selected Display, and Remove Remove Display, which removes the selected Display. Notice that there is always at least one visible Display.

 

NOTE

If the height of the selected Display is greater than its width, the Add Add Display option adds the new Display below the selected Display.

If the height of the selected Display is less than or equal to its width, the Add Add Display option adds the new Display to the right of the selected Display.
