The Python language stands out for easy usage and a vast library, in addition to being used in data analysis systems and engineering calculations.

There are several installers and versions of the default Python language interpreter, also called CPython. EPM Processor supports version 3.7 or later and does not support version 2.7 or any other implementation of the language, such as IronPython or Pypy.

For EPM Processor, the options Install for all users, Include in PATH, and Install pip must be selected during the installation process.
