EPM Connections |
An EPM Connection is a configuration of a connection to an EPM Webserver that, by its turn, is linked to a single EPM Server. Through this connection, users can access the following items of an EPM Server:
•Events used to trigger the automatic execution of Productions
•Data Objects from an EPM Server
•Data models, that is, the hierarchical organization of data in an EPM Server via EPM Model or the object model in E3 or Elipse Power via EPM Data Model
EPM Processor allows multiple EPM Connections, whether to a single server or to distinct servers. To create an EPM Connection, follow these procedures:
1.On the side menu, click Connections.
2.Click New.
3.Fill in the options according to the description on the next table and click OK.

Authentication Server |
HTTP address of the machine where an EPM Webserver is installed, followed by the TCP/IP port configured in the Authentication Port option from that EPM Webserver configuration. The default TCP/IP port is 44333, such as http://machine_name:44333 |
Web Api |
HTTP address of the machine where an EPM Webserver is installed, followed by the TCP/IP port configured in the Web Api Port option from that EPM Webserver configuration. The default TCP/IP port is 44332, such as http://machine_name:44332 |
