Trigger by De-Energizing |
A trigger by de-energizing is recommended in interconnection points with a supplier system, where a lack of energy is not necessarily related to opening the device itself or to the protection trigger, such as a low-voltage Breaker of a Substation's Transformer can be de-energized due to the lack of a Transmission Line. The configuration of this trigger is performed only on devices configured on the Device_List spreadsheet with the EnableTriggerDeEnergizing column equal to S and the BreakersDownstreamDeEnergizing column with the list of downstream devices. The de-energizing trigger is triggered when the following conditions are met:
•Voltage on the device less than 1kV
•Current on the device equal to 0 (zero)
•Communication quality on the device itself is good
•Current equal to 0 (zero) on downstream devices, declared on the BreakersDownstreamDeEnergizing column of the CSV file
•Good communication quality on downstream devices
•Operator releases trigger by de-energizing
