Screens

A Screen is the basic object for an interface with users. The following objects can be inserted into it:

Primitive shapes of a graphical editor (straight lines, circles, rectangles, polygons, etc.)

ActiveX controls supplied by Elipse Software (E3 Alarm, E3Chart, E3Browser)

ActiveX controls supplied by other vendors

Non-vector images (BMP, JPG, GIF, etc.)

Vector images (WMF and EMF files, etc.)

Standard Windows controls (Lists, Text editors, Selection Lists, etc.)

Elipse Power graphical libraries (XControls) composed by any object described previously

Viewer Folders, Queries, Counter, Demo, Internal, and Timer Tags

Screens use a Himetric standard for measuring size and coordinates, which is given in 1/100 mm, not in pixels. In this system, if a positive value is added to x, then x coordinate moves to the right. When adding a positive value to y, then y coordinate moves down, and its origin is given by the upper left corner of a Screen.

Screens can be opened in Full-Screen mode, occupying all Elipse Power Viewer's area, or as modal screens, occupying only the size of their height and width coordinates.
