Internal Queries |
When starting to configure a Query in an application that contains a Storage, this object appears on the list of available Databases for queries. This happens because Storage works as a new data provider, making it easy for users to query data on time tables.
Once a Storage is selected as a data provider for a Query, its configuration interface presents several differences, as seen on the next figure. The first one is that instead of displaying tables, it shows a tree with all variables currently stored. The other difference is that users can select between seven functions to consolidate data: LastValue, ArchivedValue, TagAttribute, CompressedDataNValues, CompressedDataStartEndTime, SampledData, and CalculatedData.
A detailed explanation about each one of these functions is available on Elipse Power User's Guide.
