Objects of a Section Report |
A Section Report contains several objects that can be used, available on its toolbar. The available options on this toolbar are described on the next table.

Load RPX File |
Imports a Section Report configuration from an external file in RPX format |
Save as RPX File |
Exports a Section Report configuration to an external file in RPX format |
Select |
Enables a selection mode of objects |
Move Forward |
Sends an object to the front of another object. The selected object is placed on the first position in the layer order |
Move Backward |
Sends an object to the back of another object. The selected object is placed on the last position in the layer order |
Line |
Basic straight line object that connects any two points. It allows drawing lines, by specifying two points when creating it or in polygons |
Rectangle |
This object allows drawing rectangles, using the whole object's width or height. It is created by using at least two vertexes |
Rounded Rectangle |
A Rectangle created by using two vertexes with an option of rounding its edges by using a round factor. When inserted or edited, it shows a small point next to its upper left edge, which allows modifying that round factor |
Ellipse |
This object allows drawing circles and ellipses, by using the whole object's width or height, and by defining the center of the circle at rectangle's center |
Picture |
This object allows displaying images stored in files, whether they are inside or outside the application file |
Text |
Allows creating a text. When defining the area on a Screen, users can directly type a text, which also accepts multiple lines |
Field |
By using this object, users can link it to a table field in a Database. This field is specified by the DataField property |
Check Box |
Allows inserting a Boolean data type, which may or may not be bound to a Database |
Barcode |
Allows generating a picture that converts a sequence of numbers and characters into a bar code. This code is a numerical or alphanumerical representation, used to facilitate different processes. This code is recognized by scanners and optical-reading devices |
Page Break |
Sets a point where a page finishes and another one starts on a Section Report. For example, users can force a page break to force a chapter title to always start on a new page |
Chart |
This object is used to view Section Report's data in a graphical format. |
NOTE |
The Printer option on E3 Server icon on Windows Notification Area displays a list of printers found either locally or remotely, and allows users to select one for use by an E3 Server. |
