Discrete Measurements

Now let's configure Discrete Measurements on Breaker 52-01. The first Measurement to configure is the one representing a Local or Remote status of a Switch.

1.Select the Discrete tab on Power Configuration object and click Add Add. Fill in the Name, Electrical Phase, Description, and Sorting columns with the following values:

Name: LR

Electrical Phase: -1 - epNone

Description: Local/Remote Switch

Sorting: 1000

 

2.Create a new Meaning by clicking Adds semantic Adds semantic. Configure the Meaning and Description columns as "Remote", Application Value as 0 (zero), and Source Value as 0 (zero).

3.Create another Meaning, configuring the Meaning and Description columns as "Local", Application Value as 1 (one), and Source Value also as 1 (one).

4.On this Substation, right-click folder Measurements on Breaker 52-01 and select the Insert - Discrete Measurement option.

5.Configure this Discrete Measurement with the following values:

Name: LocalRemote

MeasurementType: LR, on the Type column

 

NOTE

As an Analog Measurement, there is an option to insert a SCADA-type Measurement Source and then link it to an I/O Tag.

 

6.Execute this application and test this new functionality.

7.Repeat the creation of Discrete Measurement LocalRemote for all Breakers.

8.Execute this application and test this new functionality.

Create Measurement AutomaticManualTAP for Transformer TR-01 with conditions 0: Manual and 1: Automatic.
