Challenge VII

Create a Command to operate Breaker 52-01. This Command cannot be sent if a device is in Local mode

 

1.Select the Commands folder of Breaker 52-01.

2.Insert one more Discrete Command and configure it as follows:

Name: cmdBreakerPosition

CommandType: *BreakerPosition on the Type column

 

3.Select CommandUnit1 and change its Name property to "Open". Also change its CommandName property to "Open".

4.Insert one more Command Unit. Change its Name property to "Close" and its CommandName property to "Close".

5.Link both Units to the Operator source of Measurement BreakerPosition of this device.

Now let's configure an Interlock as indicated in the challenge. This interlock applies both to Units Open and Close, therefore this Interlock can be inserted in the Discrete Command.

6.In the Discrete Command cmdBreakerPosition, insert an Interlocks folder.

7.On this folder, insert an Interlock.

8.Configure this Interlock as follows:

Measurement: SE1.[52-01].Measurements.LocalRemote, by using AppBrowser

ComparisonOperator: 0 - coEqualTo

ComparisonValue: 1 - Local

9.Execute this application and test this new functionality. If the Breaker is in Local mode, both Units should be interlocked.
