During installation, a message "There are E3 modules running on this machine. Please stop them and restart installation" is displayed

 

possible reason

Another version of Elipse E3, Elipse Power, or Elipse Water is installed and opened while trying to install Elipse Power.

 

SOLUTION

Close the open modules of Elipse E3, Elipse Power, or Elipse Water and then resume Elipse Power installation.

 

During installation, a message "There is an Elipse E3, Elipse Power, or Elipse Water installer already running on this machine. Please close and finish the previous installation" is displayed

 

Possible Reason

The installation of another Elipse Software product was started but it is still pending while trying to install Elipse Power.

 

Solution

Finish the pending installation and then resume Elipse Power installation.

 

During installation, a message "Files in use. Files that need to be updated are in use" is displayed

 

possible reason

An Elipse SCADA version is installed and opened while trying to install Elipse Power.

 

SOLUTION

Close Elipse SCADA and then resume Elipse Power installation.

 

After installation, a message "Elipse Power Studio license not found in this server. Do you want to run in demo mode?" is displayed when I try to execute Elipse Power Studio

 

possible reason

There are two possible reasons:

a)Protection device or detection drivers are not correctly installed.

b)USB port setup is not correct or this port is damaged.

 

SOLUTION

For each reason, try the following:

a)Execute HaspDinst.exe application with -I option. This can be performed via Start - Run menu. The command prompt would be, for example:

C:\Program Files\Elipse Software\Elipse Power\HASP\haspdinst.exe -I

 

b)Test USB port with another known device, such as a printer. Users can also check on computer settings whether this USB port is correctly configured.

I moved the application to another computer and now it does not display images anymore

 

possible reason

Path to picture files is incorrect.

 

SOLUTION

Users must create the same directory structure, that is, the same path from the original computer.
