Defining a View Mode |
The Faceplate Screen contains the following view modes, defined in the DisplayMode property of the ~hpXFaceplateConfig object:
•0: Retractable window with manual minimum width
•1: Retractable window with automatic minimum width
•2: Window always expanded with manual minimum width
•3: Window always expanded with automatic minimum width
In modes 0 (zero) and 1 (one), the Faceplate Screen is retractable, so that it occupies the smaller Screen area when opened, while in modes 2 (two) and 3 (three), the Screen is displayed always expanded, so that its content is always visible.
In modes 1 (one) and 3 (three), the Screen may reach the smaller width when retracted, in mode 1 (one), or when there are few elements displayed, in mode 3 (three). If the reduced size affects the legibility of any information, modes 0 (zero) and 2 (two) allow configuring manually the minimum size.
Tab dimensions are defined in the existing Links of dimGroup[Tab] properties of the ~hpXEventBridge object. For example, the dimGroupAnalogs property defines the Screen dimension when the Analogs tab is open and retracted, while the dimGroupAnalogs2 property executes this procedure for the same expanded tab.
