Elipse Event Log Viewer is a log system developed by Elipse Software. E3 processes use a binary format for event recording, available for Windows XP SP3 or later and, for previous operating systems, logs are recorded in text format.

Files are stored in a structured format, which allows a functionality such as filters, recording binary messages, sorting, and searching.

Event Log Viewer is an ActiveX control that can be integrated into E3, so that users can monitor E3 processes from inside an application. It contains a file system control and management service, ensuring the maintenance of a maximum size for files without running out of disk space.

To use Event Log Viewer, select the Tools - Log Viewer menu in E3 Studio or right-click the E3 Admin icon on Windows Notification Area and select the Shortcuts - Log Viewer menu.
