Adding Objects at Run Time |
In some situations, an application does not have a fixed structure, and users must create the necessary objects at run time. For example, an application that must read a list of devices from a database and then establish a communication with these devices. Also, these devices vary over time, along with their properties.
If objects inserted at run time are server objects (Tags, Drivers, Historic, Alarms, etc.), changes can be saved using the Save command. Viewable objects (Screens or Reports, for example) cannot be saved.
