An application can only have one Alarm Server-type object, and its presence is mandatory to perform alarm verification. This object is responsible for reporting alarm events to all connected E3 Viewers, as well as, if desired, sending these events to a database.

To save alarms on a database, open Alarm Server's Properties Window and, on Configuration tab, select the Store alarms on a database option.
