Structure of Screens and Frames

A Frame is an object that organizes and structures an interface, creating composed views for users inside E3 Viewer's main window or inside a browser.

In a Frame, users can create Splitters to view different Screens at the same time. Each Splitter can also show a URL, an Excel spreadsheet, a Word document, or a PDF file.

The disposition of Splitters inside a Frame can be horizontal or vertical. Splitters can also be inserted inside each other. For each pair of Splitters created by the Split Horizontally and Split Vertically options, there is always a Main Splitter and a Secondary Splitter. Only the Main Splitter contains values explicitly defining its position, the Secondary Splitter only gets the remaining values. To use this resource, follow these procedures:

1.Right-click the View - Viewer and Frames item in Organizer and select the Insert Frame in option.

2.To create a Splitter, right-click a Frame and select a split type (Split Horizontally or Split Vertically).
