Creating a Query

1.Defining a Query starts when users select a Database Server where this Query retrieves its data.

2.After defining a Database, a new window is opened with all tables found on it, allowing their selection.

3.Select the tables that are going to be part of that Query and click OK.

4.On the Fields tab, users can add fields returned by this Query, as well as define filters and the sort order.

5.On the Variables tab are displayed the variables created for filters.

6.On the Visualize tab, users can perform a preview of this Query.

7.On the SQL tab, users can view and edit the SQL source code.

8.The window shown on the previous figure can be opened by right-clicking a Query object and selecting the Configure option.
