XObject

In addition to XControls and XFolders, users can create a data library, called XObject. With this library, users can define a data structure executed on the Server. Such structure can perform calculations, Links, communication, alarm verification or historical storage, among other tasks, regardless of having any graphical interface (E3 Viewer) open or executing at that moment.

Users can insert in an XObject any E3 modules executed in the Server, such as:

I/O Drivers and OPC Drivers

I/O Tags

Alarm Servers and Alarms

Formulas

Data Servers

Historic objects

This allows users to define a library as a complex management system, which can be easily replicated as needed in an application.

IMPORTANT

As XControls, XFolders, and XObjects can only establish a relationship with the external world by using properties, or else by using a keyboard or mouse pointer, in case of XControls, users cannot access internal data from an XControl, XFolder, or XObject, except from inside the object itself.
