IIS (Internet Information Services)

An Internet server provided with Windows is IIS (Internet Information Services) server. To install IIS on Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10, execute the next steps, using an account with administrator rights.

1.Open the Start - Control Panel menu on Windows 7 SP1 or open the Apps - Windows System - Control Panel item on the initial window of Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. On Windows 10, right-click the Start menu and select the Control Panel item.

2.Click Programs and Features.

3.Click Turn Windows features on or off.

4.Locate on the list the Internet Information Services item and click Expand to expand all its sub-items.

5.Select, at least, the next options and click OK.

6.The system starts installing the software. Wait for the process to finish to configure the system.
