Persistable

Booleano Indicates whether a Property Definition is saved in the project file (True) or it is available only at run time (False). Default value of this property is True. If this property is configured as False, the Property Definition cannot be edited in E3 Studio anymore, saved, nor read from the project file. However, the Property Definition is still visible in AppBrowser. This property is represented by the icon Persistable Property Definition.

When this property is configured as True, the Property Definition receives its default value (the DefaultValue property) only when creating an instance. If the DefaultValue property changes, the object instances already created are not affected.

When this property is configured as False, the Property Definition receives its default value whenever an instance is loaded, that is, whenever the DefaultValue property changes, all instances already created are initialized with the new default value.
