Defining Scripts

The language used by Elipse E3 for its scripts is VBScript, a subset of Visual Basic language, developed by Microsoft. VBScript contains a fast, light, and portable interpreter, developed for browsers and other applications using ActiveX Controls, Automation Servers, and Java Applets. Scripts are always linked to events of a specific object. However, for an easy and fast development, Elipse E3 already incorporates some common actions that could be handled by scripts via assistants (wizards) called Picks. Users can define whether a certain event executes a script, a Pick, or a combination of both, in a sequence defined during script creation in Elipse E3 Studio.
