•Usage repetition: If the same device or process is used more than once in the same project

•Procedures known by users: Frequently, a process created by a certain company must be protected from copy or change. This is common for service integrators or machine manufacturers

•Using controllers: A process controller, whose memory mapping is fixed, can be implemented with all available functionality. The available flexibility to build and use objects in Elipse E3 allows using later only the variables needed, discarding the other ones
