Adding Objects at Run Time |
In some situations, an application does not have a fixed structure, and users must create the necessary objects at run time. For example, an application that must read a list of devices from a database and then establish a communication with these devices. Also, these devices vary over time, along with their properties.
If objects inserted at run time are server objects, such as Tags, Drivers, Historic objects, and Alarms, among others, changes can be saved using the Save command. Viewable objects, such as Screens or Reports, cannot be saved.
