Using Oracle as a Database server for Elipse E3 is only possible when installing an Oracle server or client on the computer where an E3 Server is executing. This installation must contain OCI (Oracle Call Interface) support and OLEDB Provider for Oracle, required for communication between Elipse E3 and Oracle. Accessing an Oracle database can be performed either by accessing it from Elipse E3 or via scripts. Each one of these procedures are explained on the next topics.
