Slave |
A Slave is an object dynamically created by Elipse SuperDriver Driver, which carries an independent Tag cache (repository) and memory resources, and it is related to an I/O Driver Profile. Slaves are created by Elipse SuperDriver Driver by supplying pairs of Profiles and Ports by the declared Tags.
A pair of Profile and Port is supplied by the content of the Device field. The Device field of each Tag must contain the name of one of those declared Profiles and a TCP/IP port number, separated by a colon character. This syntax is presented later.
There is a Slave for each one of these different pairs declared in a set of Tags linked to a Elipse SuperDriver Driver object in an application. Ten hundred Slaves is the maximum value supported by Elipse SuperDriver Driver.
