Introduction

The primary goal of Elipse SuperDriver Driver is to communicate via other Elipse Software Drivers, each one of these Drivers might be specialized in some protocol. Multiple Drivers are associated to Elipse SuperDriver Driver, generating items called Slaves, whose configuration definitions are isolated by Driver Profiles. Therefore, the existing I/O Tags in an application, referring to these Slaves by some configuration field, have their parameters sent to their respective instance of a Driver.

Elipse Software Drivers that can be subordinated to Elipse SuperDriver Driver must be the ones developed for the IOKit library, and their topology must provide as an immediate physical layer for communication with the application the Ethernet interface, and TCP/IP as its network transport protocol.

Elipse SuperDriver Driver is not compatible with Elipse SCADA.
