How to Connect a Melsec-FX Device to a Computer |
There are 2 (two) ways to connect an Elipse Software application to a device from FX series. The first possibility is using an RS-232 connector (FX-232ADP adapter) and the second one is using an RS-485 connector (FX-485PC-IF converter and FX-485ADP adapter). The advantage of using an RS-485 connector is the possibility of connecting to a network of devices instead of connecting to a single device.
