How to Connect a Melsec-A Device to a Computer |
There are 2 (two) ways to connect an Elipse Software application to a device from A series. Both ways use an AJ71UC24 communication adapter. The first possibility is using an RS-232 connector and the second one is using an RS-485 connector. The advantage of using an RS-485 connector is the possibility of connecting to a network of devices instead of connecting to a single device.
