The Marte Driver, when added to an application, is loaded with pre-configured extra parameters for Serial physical layer, that is, a time-out of 1000 ms, COM1 port, baud rate of 4800 bps, 7 (seven) data bits, 1 (one) stop bit, and even parity. Change these parameters as needed.

For devices from series AC10K and A10K, parameters for baud rate, parity, data and stop bits are fixed and do not need to be changed. For devices from series AL and AS, on the other hand, these parameters may be different due to the flexibility of configuration of these devices. Therefore, users must previously check configurations for serial communication in a device and then reproduce them in this Driver.
