KS98 and KS98+ controllers must be equipped with the Module B to transmit data using an RS-485 or RS-422 network.
The communication mode supported by the Module B is half-duplex, with baud rates between 2400 and 19200 bps, 7 (seven) data bits, even parity, and 1 (one) stop bit.
The principle of communication is Master/Slave, in which a controller acts as a Slave and must have a unique identifier (address) in an RS-485 or RS-422 network. This identifier can be configured on the main menu General Data - Instrument data - Addr.
