Timestamps

This Driver, whatever the selected protocol, supports sending and receiving data with or without timestamp in the following formats:

Without timestamp: In this case, the timestamp is set by this Driver according to system's current time

24-bit timestamp: This format is defined in protocol IEC 870-5-101, but can be used in both protocol IEC 870-5-101 and protocol IEC 870-5-104. Includes only information about hour, minute, second, and millisecond. Date is filled by this Driver using system's current date

56-bit timestamp: This format is defined in protocol IEC 870-5-104, but can be used in both protocol IEC 870-5-104 and protocol IEC 870-5-101. Includes a full timestamp, with year, month, day, hour, minute, second, and millisecond

In data received without a timestamp or with an invalid timestamp, that is, with the IV flag equal to 1 (one), the timestamp is replaced by the current computer's time and the value's quality returned to the application is adjusted to indicate that the timestamp is local. Timestamps received and sent by this Driver can be adjusted to summer time, depending on this Driver's configuration and on the SU flag of the timestamp.
