General Interrogation |
A General Interrogation is a procedure used to ask a Slave for sending the current status of all objects, which usually are sent without a timestamp.
To enable sending General Interrogation Commands to a Slave, configure the next properties on the Master - General Interrogation group of the Properties tab of this Driver's configuration window:
•Interrogation Auto-run: Select this option to enable sending a General Interrogation Command whenever a communication is established with a Slave
•Interrogation Repeat e Interrogation Repeat Period (sec): Select this option and configure an interval, in seconds, to repeat a General Interrogation Command
•Interrogation Wait ACTTERM: Select this option to force this Driver to wait for a notification of a General Interrogation Command ending (ACTTERM). It is recommended that this option be deselected only if users detect that a Slave does not send that notification, because it is optional
•Interrogation Process At end: Select this option to process data received only at the end of a General Interrogation Command
