Introduction

This is the Elipse DDEClient Driver, used for communication between Elipse Software systems and DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange) servers in general.

This Driver requests or waits for the arrival of data from a DDE server. When this data is received, it is stored in an internal cache memory of this Driver, forming a stack of data as it arrives. PLC tags from an application then remove this data from cache memory and provide it to an application.

To perform a remote communication via TCP/IP,users must use Windows NetDDE services.
