The [P] configuration parameters of this Driver are not used. All settings are performed on the Setup and Serial tabs of the configuration window.

When added to an application, this Driver is loaded with the default configuration of extra parameters for serial port COM1, that is, baud rate of 4800 bps, 8 (eight) data bits, 1 (one) stop bit, and no parity check. These settings already match the definitions informed on the documentation of a CAE500 device.

Possibly the address of the serial port must be changed to the address with which users intend to establish communication, such as COM2, COM3, and so on. The time-out is already defined as 1000 ms, but this is rather arbitrary relative to an application's requirements.
