Introduction

The Altus Alnet I V2 Slave Driver can act as a Slave on an Alnet I network and communicate with any other devices that implement the Alnet I V2 protocol as Masters, such as devices by Altus Sistemas de Automação S.A. or other applications with drivers that implement this protocol.

This Driver contains an internal virtual device that stores all data received from a network's Master, allowing access to these values by reading Tags. Users can also write values to the memory of this internal virtual device by using writing operations to Tags, which then turns these values available for reading by a Master device.

Altus controllers implementing the Alnet I V2 protocol are AL-2000, AL-3000, AL-600, QUARK, PICCOLO, and PONTO.
